Disinfection, Sanitization, & Sterilization:
Since Electrolysis hair removal service is part of the healthcare industry - we are extremely strict with our standards of hygiene and safety (way before COVID-19 times), maintenance & protocols.
We are diligent with safety and use:
What is Electrolysis?
Electrolysis is a proven, safe and effective, time-tested (over a hundred years), Physicians-recommended, only hair removal method approved by AMA (American Medical Association), and FDA (Food and Drug Administration) - for:
Electrolysis hair removal necessitates the introduction of a tiny probe through the opening of the hair follicle (the sensation of which is not felt) and a small current is then applied through it. Depending on the technique chosen by the electrologist, the electric current destroys the hair root by heat, chemical action or a combination of both.
Is it painful?
Hey, no pain no gain, right?! But, in general, and to answer the question... it's felt as a sensation that varies from one to another. Some clients even find it relaxing.
How long will it take to be hair free?
A big factor that determines that answer - is the client's regular and consistent show-up for the appointment. It's most effective to eradicate the hair in its vulnerable early growth phase, vs it becoming stronger and resistant in its later stage of growth.
Which brings us to the next factor... stages of hair growth. Each and every single hair (even in a specific given area) may be at a different growth phase. Destruction of the hair is most effective when the hair is in its early stages of growth. The longer you let the hair grow out (being irregular in keeping appointment)... that hair will move on to its latter phase of growth - which is when it is least affected by electrolysis. Coming in regularly for your set appointment day is key to success!
Other factors that determine the overall length of treatment are the amount and type of hair and any underlying health conditions associated with the hair growth. It varies from person to person.
But be sure that once you start the journey, there will be an end in sight. And a beautiful one for that matter!
Why not other popular hair removal methods?
Because Electrolysis is THE ONLY FDA-approved, safe, and permanent method of hair removal! We treat one hair at a time, ensuring a great amount of care and effort is put into each and every single hair (literally) to permanently destroy it.
How much will it cost?
The use of temporary hair removal methods adds up and is a bottomless pit of money thrown away!
The cost of electrolysis pales in comparison because it is a proven, scientific, and permanent method of hair removal. And it is an Answered prayer of all those who know of such challenges with unwanted hair.
Can hairs be removed from moles?
As your Electrologist I would require a written approval from your physician. But Electrolysis can be performed in most moles where the State allows it.
What kind of machine will be used?
The latest model of Electrolysis epilator (Apilus xCell Pur) available in the industry will be used. This will make your treatment sessions very comfortable, while providing the most effective treatment that one can get. Win-win for both of us!
